Observatory class refractor designed & developed mostly for visual observations, for astronomers with the highest quality standards.
This instrument meets the demands of those passionate about visual astronomy or planetary and deep-sky photography with impeccable chromatic correction and a large aperture to ensure sufficient light. Suitable for those who enjoy visual deep-sky, comet or planetary observing at it’s best.
Offered from 2020 in two focal ratios, the 200mm apochromatic refractor should satisfy the users who prefer a longer instrument, placed in an observatory, alongside users who might want to give it a shot at portability, choosing the 200mm f6.5 version as part of a mobile setup.
The biggest size in this class, the 230mm refractor, is definitely an observatory class instrument and it is being offered in two focal lengths as well: F/7 and F/10.
Main features:
* 3.5" rack and pinion type focuser from Starlight Instruments
* 2(two) different focal lengths to choose from (subject to availability)
* dew shield with rotate & lock feature
* bino-viewer friendly design
* Oil-spaced design for best possible light transmission & highest contrast.
